The boys have their first home baseball game this morning - this is their second game. Zeke was especially excited to get going this morning! He's real fun to watch, but he wants to make sure you are watching him, if you know what a I mean. I've had to remind him to keep his eye on the ball both at practice and his first game.
This time around, I chose to stay home because I'm still recovering from my bout of hives/angioedema. It's still painful to walk, but the swelling is much, much better today. Some women get morning sickness ... I get to deal with this every pregnancy. In truth, I do deal with hives outside of pregnancy, but pregnancy seems to make it more difficult to handle. Another day or two and I should be 'normal' again.
All the kids went with Eric to the games, so I have a little quiet time. I've been itching (literally, with the hives, and figuratively) to get into my garden to finish planting. The soil is ready... and the tomatoes are getting tired of living in their peat and plastic pots. They need the sun and rain to thrive.
I felt cheated yesterday, because that's the day I had planned to finish up in the garden. It was a beautifully sunny day with little wind, too. But, I was stuck inside. Thank goodness today looks as wonderful.
I'm so sorry about your hives, sounds terrible! Every pregnancy, when it's warmer than 70degrees, I get a rash between my legs, from them rubbing together, it's terrible, I can't even wear underwear to bed! My doctor prescribes me a cream that works sooooo good. We had one 90 degree day and sure enough, the rash came! (that was over a month ago though)
ReplyDeleteSO I sympathize with you. Everything is worse when pregnant!
Well I like the 4-H stuff on your blog. I was in the club a long long time ago. Many memories.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of your daughter and art work.
You sound busy with baseball also. I enjoy sitting on the bench watching those boys play ball. Just a good ol'time!
