A week ago, workers started the process of installing a sidewalk for the side garage door to the garage cement pad. I'm so excited to have an actual 'hard' path to walk on from the front of our house to a door.

I think the finished product is absolutely beautiful.
The rest of the sidewalks and landscaping in the works. We are on the schedule for early July. In the meantime, I'm just itching to get into the dirt between our newest sidewalk and the house ... oh, the possibilities! Will I do irises, lily of the valley, roses, shrubs, day lilies, peonies, hosta, etc. ???
Before I even got to the end of the post, I thought "Wow, an empty slate for oh, so many possiblities!" How exciting, I'm excited for you!!

suzie, i am just drooling over that house. and the yard is so lovely.......you know my husband is a cement guy, so if you ever need any work done, maybe we could come and live with you.......:)
