Finished by Friday

Remember I’m the type who likes lists and crossing off each item?  Well, this is a short list of what’s been accomplished in our household/homeschool this week.

1. Vest, tie, bowtie, pocket square all sewn for Greg…this week.  Pictures to come later.

2. Angelina finished History, Literary Analysis & Reading Comprehension.

3. Zeke finished History.

4. Graham finished poetry & religion.

I forgot to post last week, so this is for the last two weeks.

1. Zeke finished music and religion.  Graham finished math & music.  Angelina finished Latin.

2. The stacks of rubber tubs in our guest room were stored out of sight.

3. Zeke & Graham completed their Journey Through Lent lap-books.

4. Angelina’s Ballet Academy presented their ‘Carnival of the Animals’ recital this past Sunday, thus closing the year on dance.

5. Greg finished a History paper!

6. Due to the Blizzard, Greg had time to install the TV mount (purchased 3, maybe more, years ago by Eric).  It works great!

7. The Dining Room is completely cleared of clutter.  I just hope it stays that way until Easter.

Remember I’m the type who likes lists and crossing off each item?  Well, this is a short list of what’s been accomplished in our household/homeschool this week.  If you care to share your list, I’d welcome inspiration!

1.  Fish aquarium cleaned …it really needed it this time.  Unfortunately, our Cory cat, which wasn’t doing well in the first place, died this week.  I tried my best to  keep him alive by adding stress coat & additional oxygen.  And a Danio that had ICK didn’t make it either because the other fish chased it around.  I should get an isolation tank to protect sick fish.

2. Patio is cleared of ice and snow – thanks to Zeke & Louis.

3. Recycling & aluminum can crushing done by Graham.

4. Zeke finished Math-U-See Zeta!

5. Greg turned in the final draft of a government paper.  After many drafts, it’s just wonderful to have it done.

6. About half of the remaining Christmas décor has been stored.  Slow and steady…it’ll get done by Easter!  Ridiculous, right?

1. Graham finished his Music workbook.

2. Last Crop Judging Meet for Zeke & Angelina today – ND State 4-H Crop Judging contest in Valley City during the Winter Show.

3. Greg’s Sr. year course of studies is finalized.

4. Sorted out and washed the next size up in clothes for Marcus – he’s been wearing high water pants for a few weeks.

5. Ordered a few necessary clothing items for Greg & Angelina.  I always have the goal of not ordering during Lent, but kids don’t choose when to grow out of clothes & they sure don’t remember to let me know in a timely manner!

Remember I’m the type who likes lists and crossing off each item?  Well, this is a short list of what’s been accomplished in our household/homeschool this week.  If you care to share your list, I’d like to be inspired!

1. Angelina finished up her Religion book.

2. Moved 3 bags of clothes and miscellaneous stuff, in addition to an old & un-used suitcase, out of my home and into a thrift store.

3. Seven dozen eggs washed & sorted for delivery to my Fargo friend on Tuesday.

4. Finally cleared all the ice off our back sidewalk, which is most heavily used.  It’d been frozen since a child emptied a water-filled cleaning bucket just outside the door.  That child will NEVER do this again.  (The front sidewalk remains a total skating rink until we can find a way to drain the water when it’s actually melted!)

5. The chicks are ordered with arrival date set for the last few days of April or first couple days of May.  We’ll be receiving 100 slow grower Cornish Rock Cross (straight run).  The rest will be females for the laying flock: 5 Red Sexlink, 5 New Hampshire, 5 Black Wyandotte, and 5 Delaware.

1. Greg is registered for the ACT.

2. Zeke finished his shield project.

3. Angelina tried out a new recipe from Pinterest - http://cookiesandcups.com/banana-bread-crumb-cake/

4. Kitchen has been kept relatively clean all week.

5. Zeke figured out, on his own, that using a sled to bring 5 gallons of water to the chickens each day is easiest.  I’m impressed he thought of this on his own! (Maybe my kids are developing some common sense, after all.)
