Looking out from my back porch... windy and blowing snow.  now, my blog page matches the outside!

I am thinking about... how I’d really like to be in one of those little isolation rooms ... the kind where no sound comes in and none goes out.  I could scream (if I wanted) and they could scream (they want to) ...

I am thankful for...family and great friends.

I am reading... Faith & Family magazine - arrived in the mail last week.

I am hoping... that the weather clears to allow me to take Angelina to her dance rehearsal tomorrow night.

I am hearing...lots of noise.  It’s just loud.

From the sewing/craft room (aka. laundry room!)... this is the week where Louis’ stocking WILL get sewn.

From the school room... the kids worked hard last week; I’m quite certain we’ll be at the halfway mark in ALL subjects by the Christmas break.  It is so much fun to see Zeke’s reading skill (and his confidence) increase.

From the kitchen... Mac & Cheese with deer sausage.

State of the house... Ha!  We hosted a 4-H meeting the weekend before Thanksgiving, so it’s actually cleaner than it’s been for quite a while.  Hoping it’ll stay that way for a bit longer.

A successful moment... our Jesse Tree is started.

A few plans for the rest of the week…
Monday: Blessing our Advent Wreath tonight (arrived home late yesterday).

Tuesday: Dance rehearsal for Angelina’s Christmas Dance Showcase.

Wednesday & Thursday:   Home all day, baking, cleaning, chores.

Friday/Saturday/Sunday:   Church Christmas Program, County 4-H Awards Program.

A picture memory...

Angelina at about 3 years, in her Norwegian bunad.

  1. your isolation comment reminds me of the movie, "the Rocket Man" by disney. He is put in an isolation booth...it's hilarious.
