Well, this second update finishes out August. It’s the only reasonably quick way to get everything recorded!
My dad was the first to arrive and see Marcus. He was there in time to hold Marcus while Eric and I enjoyed our ‘New Parent’ meal. I can’t remember what it was completely, but it was fabulous (bacon wrapped fillet mignon & Eric ordered something else).
Grandma & Grandpa Green Acres were next to arrive.
Later in the day, all the kids arrived with my mom. I don’t even have any pictures with my mom! It got a little crazy as you can imagine.
All bundled up and ready to go home. The little sleeper was HUGE! I just didn’t realize how small 7lbs. 13oz. really ‘is’! We arrived home around 4pm to a quiet house. My mom had taken the kids on an errand.
They were home soon enough and clamoring to hold the baby. Louis fell asleep. He actually had a double eye infection. So, he wasn’t able to touch or hold Marcus until Friday. He was SOOOO very good about it, though.
I didn’t have anymore room for bracelets!
And, he likes a pacifier! Can ya believe it. I finally have a baby who will take a pacifier.
It wasn’t crazy enough, so we let Zeke join Wolfpack football for the first time this year. He had a blast. Pretty good three point position, huh!?!
Finally a pic of Marcus with my mom. She’s been just a blessing and God-send during this pregnancy. So very thankful for all her help.
It’s Friday, August 17, and Louis’ eyes are cleared up. So, he can hold baby Marcus for the first time. He was so excited.
No, he’s not always happy!
Yep, this is the garden. It’s pretty much a jungle. But, I still hope it provides a bit of food.
Finally installed our flagpole! Go America and Go Bison!!
Keeping toddlers entertained.
So many changes in baby, already. He’s just a sweetie, though and we love him so much. Phew! Can’t believe August is over. It’s on to September.
