Looking out from my back porch... snow is swirling around, the garden boxes and huge rocks are completely covered by snow and the pump handle is not far from being covered, too. It’s beautiful.
I am thankful for... the warmth of a fire, a bit of cheesecake for a snack, the fact that all persons appear to be healthy (have the last two snuck by without getting sick??!!??), and quiet hour.
I am reading… The Confession by John Grisham. I also want to read Dante’s Inferno … anyone have a favorite translation??
I am hearing... wind blowing, furnace blowing, Zeke putting together Legos in the room next door – all while chattering to himself.
I am wearing… salmon/orange long-sleeved t-shirt, jeans, flip-flops (well, I’m NOT going outside!).
From the sewing/craft room (aka. laundry room!)…many crafty plans, but no progress. I'm waiting for a weekend … I should just create a ‘break’ during the week.
From the school room... got the itch to think about next year, so am putting together my lists. The closest homeschool conf. is just over a month away, so I feel the need to plan. I love planning …
From the kitchen... pretty bland fare because of weak tummies.
A successful moment… the tree decorations have been taken down and put away in their respective boxes. Now to get the tree out the door…
A few plans for the rest of the week…
Monday: Stay home and rest.
Tuesday: Angelina’s dance class tonight.
Wednesday: Head to town for an overnight with Angelina & Louis.
Thursday: Angelina’s oral surgery (out-patient – remove 4 permanent and up to two baby teeth) and drive home. Prayers appreciated.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday: BB practice for Zeke, crop judging work-out, major house-cleaning.

I will eventually get a write-up done about our trip to Whitefish … just to find the time!
