Home… finally and thankfully and gratefully.

Our train ride home from Whitefish, MT was delayed for two days, so our family didn’t arrive home until Wednesday.  Angelina had her ‘last in a 3-part series’ ortho appointment on Wednesday afternoon, so she and I headed directly to Fargo (Thanks to Grandma Green Acres, who brought a vehicle up to Valley City for us!  Tante Kiki, who flew back to Germany on Thursday, rode with us, so I didn’t have any trouble staying awake on the way to Fargo).  We arrived back at the farm in time to unload groceries and put our feet up for just a bit before heading to bed.

Thursday, we needed to leave by 7:30am for my SIL’s father’s funeral.  Just Angelina, Louis and I headed up to Mayville.  We didn’t stay long afterwards as we will see the family again soon and we were quite anxious to get home.  If you can, please add my SIL to your prayers.  She’s due with her third in February and is worried about making it that far in her pregnancy.

Anyway, just wanted to let friends and family know we are home, but I’m so behind up in laundry, cooking, chores and schoolwork that I doubt I’ll have time to post about our awesome trip (and yes, that includes the extra two days spent in Whitefish!) for at least a few more days, if not a week.

Here’s a quick pic, taken by cell phone on the mountain…

  1. Happy, Happy New Year!!

I was getting worried! So glad to hear you are home and safe - we'll give you a LITTLE time to catch up before we demand some pictures and info! ;)

We'll add your SIL's Father to our prayers and for her to have a healthy and safe rest of her pregnancy. It's a tough time to lose a parent while you're expecting...

  2. You made it home safe and sound! Praise the Lord!

Sometimes travels can be so bad.

Take your time with chores. They never ever go away.
