Entering the double digit years

007 (5)She’s 10!  Hard to believe, but true.  Our only girl (thus far, God willing) is 10 today.  Angelina is a graceful, cheerful, tenderhearted helper.  Her sweet voice can lull her baby brother to sleep, but don’t let that fool you, she’s a toughie when it comes to ‘laying down the rules’ with her other brothers.  Paper dolls and Polly Pockets still entertain, but books and reading remain her steadfast favorite pastimes.  She has a soft spot for kittens, rabbits, chickens … pretty much any animal, actually.

She’s a little bit of sweet and little bit of quiet in our days.  Thank you, Lord, for the gift of our daughter!

    I didn't realize Nicholas and her were so close in age, he turned 10 in March.

    10 is such a beautiful age.
    i am trying to talk my girl into celebrating 10 again this year...
    the time goes by so fast.
    she is a lovely girl, suzie her light within shines through her beautiful smile. don't you feel so blessed to have ONE girl? i love my boys passionately, but there is nothing like a wee bit of nailpolish smell floating throughout this testosterone filled house. as toxic as it is...i don't know what i'd do without her.
    may HE bless her with many. many more!
