The Birthday girl requested cheesecake. We planned her Birthday meal for Sunday evening and invited Grandma & Grandpa Green Acres over to help us celebrate (and eat the cheesecake!). The meal included oven baked fries, steamed carrots, lettuce salad, and t-bone steaks with the Whiskey Cream Sauce from The Pioneer Woman Cooks cookbook. I don’t even need to tell you how absolutely yummy the sauce tasted!!! Definitely WILL be making it again.
So, the cheesecake needed to be made … Saturday night. To decorate, I had these flower cupcake picks from a Springtime treat. They dressed up the cheesecake. And then 10 candles. I accidentally put 11 candles on the cake, thank goodness Angelina caught my mistake … or she’d have skipped being 10! The cheesecake was served with berries – sliced strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries. It was very good. And, it was easier than frosting a cake.
She received two Webkinz: The Peace Puppy and the Sheep, which is shown above.
All decked out. New jacket, sunglasses & matching purse … which is the perfect size for a Webkinz.
