New Pet Peeve
"People" (I have other names for people like this) who shout out their opinions about pregnant women from their open car windows as they drive by in the parking lot. Is there anything more undignified?? I know there is, but sure didn't feel like it at the moment ... talk about violating.

ReplyDeleteI've noticed that people look so differently at me when I only have one child with me, being pregnant, they actually smile at me!! But when I have all of them with me, there's none of that!
Oh, no. I was alone and the jerk saw my side profile. Thing is, it was my second to the last errand and I was just thinking to myself, "This is going really well today ... I haven't had to deal with any comments from clerks, etc." And THEN the jerk drove by.

ReplyDeleteThose people just are clueless. so sad and I feel sorry for them because someday they will be accountable for their actions.
I guess I should mention that I USUALLY hold my tongue and can control my urge to talk back. This time, I didn't and yelled back, "No! I'm not ready" ('to pop' - his words, not mine). I'm not sure he heard me, but his laughing just got the best of me this time.

ReplyDeleteSorry you had to endure this. Even sorrier for the jerk who said this -- he is in a bad place to be so offensive. Really makes me think we gotta kick out the culture of death!
I am shocked and offended on your behalf. Why on earth do people do these things?
